Performances Galore!

The bots are hard at work on many new shows in the following months, and February holds some great opportunities to see the robots for Free!

First off, there is a LIVE Radio Interview of Steam Powered Giraffe coming up Monday, February 8th on Griffin Radio. Isaac Godina will be hosting on his block from 10 AM - 12 PM. Tune in on the internet to hear what the members of SPG have been up to, and you can even call in live at (619) 644-7287.

The Grossmont College Student Talent Festival is February 10th, from 10 AM - 2 PM, and features local San Diego performance talent including Steam Powered Giraffe, SamHears, the Afro-Cuban Jazz Ensemble, and many more of Grossmont's finest entertainers. You won't have to pay a dime for this wonderful event, so bring your friends and help build an audience for the students at Grossmont College! Click here for more details and directions.

Last, but certainly not least, the robots have a slew of free Balboa Park weekend performances lined up for February, which you can plan to attend by looking at our calendar here. We are also doing a special Valentine's Day Balboa Park Performance on the prado Sunday, February 14th from 1 PM - 4 PM. So bring your sweetie and stop on by to hear your favorite SPG love songs!

We're finalizing details on events in March and April, so stay tuned for even more SPG shows! We've got some surprises coming up!

New Show, New Music Video, and Europe!

We have quite a lot of updates this month and we're going to cram them into this single news update!

We have another stage show January 22nd at Queen Bee's entitled "The 114 Year Anniversary Show". This show is set to rival our album release show by being even better! Click here for more details!

The video features a remixed version of our song Clockwork Vaudeville, complete with flashy colorful images and cool sunglasses...Which is exactly what the kids these days like! Feel free to drop us a comment on what you think of our new "sellout" look and feel.

On one last final update, Steam Powered Giraffe is planning on street performing at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this August. We're accepting donations and raising money for this trip currently, and plan to make a few stops at other cities on our way to the festival. It should be quite the experience for us robots and event-goers alike.

Another live video interview on SPG TV through Livestream is planned in the next few weeks. The robots will once again be answering questions and dishing out the details on super secret stuff. Please send in your questions for the robots to steampoweredgiraffe@gmail.com, we will be picking the best ones and answering them live on SPG TV!
